The Ruff 7 Mile Mountain Run is a challenging race that takes place on Dog Mountain in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The race is a true test of endurance, starting with a 3-mile climb that gains 3,000 feet in elevation to reach the summit of Dog Mountain. Runners are then rewarded with breathtaking views of the Columbia River, Mt. Hood, and Mt. St. Helens before descending 4 miles back to the finish. This race offers a unique mountain racing experience in the Pacific Northwest, reminiscent of high-altitude races in Colorado.
