I raced in the Cirque Series at Alyeska, a breathtaking mountain race at the Alyeska Ski Resort in Alaska. Although it wasn’t my usual race category, it was an incredible experience, offering some of the most challenging and thrilling terrain I’ve encountered in the U.S.—the closest thing to sky running I’ve found stateside. The course featured stunning mountain ridge lines, bear crawling up rocky ascents, and super technical descents that pushed me to my limits. I was happy to place 8th among the pro women in this intense and (very) fast race. I spent 1:25 in zone 2 and 17 minutes in zone 5!
