I recently raced in the Dirty Half, a challenging half-marathon trail race held annually in Bend, Oregon. Although this wasn’t my main race category, I used it as a solid training opportunity and was pleased to place 14th among the women. The course, known for its forested terrain and beautiful pine trees, offered an excellent mix of smooth dirt gravel roads—perfect for building endurance in early season. It was a great experience and a fantastic way to test my fitness levels in preparation for upcoming races.
